First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Samet.
Field Engineer
So, first, I had a phone screening call. After that, there was a short video call interview. Then, I was invited to come into the office for a bunch of interviews back-to-back. It was pretty cool, everyone was really nice and they even gave me a tour. The people interviewing me were pretty open and honest about how things worked. I thought it was great that they were so transparent the whole time.
- Can you tell me about a positive aspect from each of your previous roles?
- And what about a negative aspect from each of your previous roles?
Intern
They gave me a 20-minute phone interview and made me wait 10 minutes for them to call. Right after the interview, they told me the position was filled.
- Why are you interested in Samet?
- What made you choose this location?
- Why are you passionate about this industry?
Project Engineer
Applied online, then LinkedIn Recruiter reached out. Had a 20-30 min phone screen about my past work. They wanted to move forward, so I got asked to do an online reasoning test. After that, I had a 1.5-hour in-person interview with 2 PMs and 1 Senior PM. We toured the office, talked about the company culture, history, and current projects. It started formal but turned into a conversation after about 15-20 minutes.
- Tell me about a challenging moment you faced.
- What do you think about the future direction of the industry?
- How do you handle conflicts?
Director
The overall process was very good. I met with two leaders in their office for the initial and follow-up interviews. This was after an initial phone screening from their HR group. After a few other items, I received an offer. Overall, it was a very good company with good people, but I was just looking for another opportunity.
- Can you share an instance of your biggest failure?
- Could you describe your greatest success?
- What accomplishment are you most proud of?
