My interview with SamCart was a really positive one. The team and recruiters did a fantastic job making sure I had a great candidate experience throughout the process. They were always on top of communication, getting back to me quickly, and keeping me updated on my application status. They clearly put a lot of effort and thought into creating a good experience for everyone interviewing. Honestly, it's one of the best application experiences I've had in my career. I'd definitely recommend applying here if you see a role that fits your interests and skills. The recruitment team at SamCart is truly top-notch.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process felt totally unprofessional. It started with an online interview/screen, followed by a test project, and then a final interview. Even though I was at the end of the process, the company went silent. I followed up a couple times over a month, once being told I was still a top candidate and would get a decision timeline soon. But that day passed with no word. Several weeks later, I finally said I was withdrawing my application. It was totally unprofessional conduct, something I've never dealt with before. I'd suggest being careful when applying to jobs with this company.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a pretty quick and easy interview process, wrapped up in about a week. About two days after I applied on LinkedIn, a recruiter reached out to schedule a call. After that went well, I had a call with the hiring manager (after the weekend) and then another call with some designers where we looked at a past project from my portfolio. The last interview was with the PM and tech lead for the team I'd be joining. All the interviews were done over Google Meet and they were really good at communicating. So yeah, four interviews in about six days total.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process started with a recruiter screen over Zoom, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. I found the process confusing because they seemed unsure about their hiring objective, posting for different levels of the same role. This made it hard to know if they were looking for a Senior or Staff position, which is frustrating as a candidate. It makes you wonder if the role was even properly defined before posting, or if they're using interviews to figure out internal issues. It felt a bit like a bait and switch.
