I applied through LinkedIn. The process started with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager in SF. Then, I had a case study to complete, which I presented to a group over hangouts. Right after the presentation, I had 3 video interviews, and the final stage was an on-site interview at the Chicago office. It was a long process, but they kept me updated on what was next and the recruiter checked in sometimes. I really liked the interview scheduling tool they used, it saved a lot of back and forth.

Behavioral Presentation

I got contacted about 2 months after applying. I made it to the last round of interviews. Folks here seemed stressed, and some questions arose from boundary issues with clients. Most interviewers were nice. The hardest interview was with a research director. She asked some really unexpected behavioral questions, and I wasn't ready for them. The interview process involved her interview, then the hiring manager, then a presentation, and finally a team interview with about 6 people. The homework took a significant amount of time, so plan to set aside time for it. I never heard back after sending follow-ups.

I interviewed for the Research Manager position during Covid19. The process is longer than usual due to the work from home situation. There are 6 steps: HR interview, Hiring manager interview, Case study (review data, prepare a deck and present it to the team), Individual interviews with team members, CEO interview, and Mis (take personality test and reference check). The interview process was pretty extensive but helped me gained a deep understanding of the company, the expectation of the role, and the work the role will be doing (case study).
