Behavioral Other

The Samba TV recruiting team is very unprofessional. They are horrible at getting back to you and need to respect a prospective candidate's time. Don't book interviews that you cannot attend. When trying to reschedule an interview they will not respond to emails. This is a very bad candidate experience and makes me never want to work for a place like this in the future. Hopefully HR looks into this and improves the process.

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter contacted me to schedule an initial phone screen, which I felt went well. The role description seemed to align with my qualifications. Afterward, the recruiter transferred communication to her assistant to arrange a phone call with the hiring manager. I had to follow up to get this scheduled. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, who was a few minutes late. While I understand occasional lateness, no apology or explanation was offered, which felt unprofessional. The hiring manager seemed young and inexperienced at interviewing, giggling throughout the call, making it awkward. She then mentioned that HR would send over an assignment, but I never received it. I followed up with HR twice, and eventually received an automated rejection email without any explanation from HR regarding my previous inquiries. The entire recruiting process felt very unprofessional; I believe the company might be losing good candidates due to this approach.

Behavioral Case

The interview process was great, it was challenging and empathetic. Challenging because of the questions about why you chose the strategy you did for the proposal and empathetic for seeing where you are in your career and where you could be.
