They did 2 interviews before making a job offer. They asked about how I handle conflict, to tell them about Jesus, why I want to work there, and what a negative trait about myself is.

They have zero interest in any skills you have. The entire interview consisted of questioning my personal religious views, including a biblical quiz on the history of Jesus. It seems they are looking for a lifelong bible scholar, who also happens to have all the skills necessary to perform the job. This would have been just fine, however, nowhere in the job description or email from the recruiter was the religious aspect mentioned. The whole company had a cult-like vibe, and I honestly could have walked out before the interview ended. I personally have religious beliefs, but was told through an email afterward that I was not "Christian enough" for their organization.

I won’t say disparaging things about fellow people in Christ, however, it seems based on the application questions and 2 rejections to 2 different positions, they expect their employees to attend church weekly and be involved in church activities. I’m sure many people lie to get the job. I’m honest and answered honestly in my application. But was rejected without even landing an interview. The spirit of religion runs deep in this organization.

I went through multiple rounds of interviews with leads, managers, and HR. They talked about my professional and personal projects and my background. My wife was also brought in to support our relationship together. That was something I'd never done before, but it was very inviting and proved they cared for their employees and families.
