First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Salvatore Ferragamo.
Sales Associate
It was quick but manager do not contact back after interview to give feedback. Hopefully in the future they would instead of not contact the people they’ve interviewed after promising they would stay in touch.
- How would you approach uninterested clients?
Sales Associate
So I had a few interviews. The first one was just a quick call with the store manager, like a vibe check. Then I talked to the VP of the West Coast Region, also a short call to get acquainted. After that, the store manager called again to let me know about another phone interview, this time it was a screening with some strategic questions to get a better sense of my personality and see if I'd be a good fit for the company culture. I felt good about that one, so the last step was meeting the store manager and the store supervisor in person. That was it, and I got the job!
- What was the most challenging aspect of the interviews?
- A lot of questions seemed to repeat, as if they were trying to trick me, and the interview was quite long. How did you approach this type of questioning?
- Can you tell me about your personality?
Sales Associate
It was a long interview process, but it really shows how important for them is to find the right fit for the organization. I initially interviewed with the General Manager, then I did a phone interview with Talent Plus, a screening type of interview that evaluates you to see if you are a right fit for the organization. Next, I interviewed with the Regional VP and last with the GM and Supervisor for the final.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
