First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Saluda Medical.
Mechanical Engineering Team Lead
It was a long and drawn-out process with interviews happening over 7 different days. Mostly virtual, but some in person. The recruiter was very active participating with both me and the company to ensure both parties were happy with their selection.
- The hiring manager wanted to understand my emotional intelligence and how I would work with team members in Australia.
Patient Access Manager
I applied on their website and 4 days later, the Talent Acquisition team contacted me through email to schedule a 30-minute virtual Teams meeting. They wanted to chat about opportunities and how they fit my background. I gave them a flexible schedule, but then heard nothing back for over 2 weeks. This definitely shows how a company operates when they can't even set up initial screenings.
- Could you let me know when you might be available to talk in the next few days?
Billing Specialist
We had a 30 min screen, in person panel. It was medium difficulty. They asked some technical questions, intro to the team and product. They also asked character questions and about the current stage of the company. There was space to fill the thirty word min.
- How are you feeling?
- Should we call an ambulance?
- Would you like to reschedule the interview?
IT Support Specialist
The hiring process included three interviews. Initially, there was a phone call, followed by a meeting with the HR and IT manager. The final interview was with the IT manager and the CFO. The second interview involved both behavioral and technical questions, like asking about prior experience with specific tools. The last interview focused mainly on behavioral questions and had no technical components. The interviewers were very friendly and helpful. The final interview was conducted remotely, which was convenient. Additionally, a psychometric test was completed before the job offer.
- Could you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- What motivates you to seek employment with our company?
- What is your preferred management style?
