After applying, HR reached out for an initial chat. All in all, I went through seven interviews. When they mentioned scheduling me for the sixth interview, I expressed my concern about the lack of a decision. At that point, they told me they were planning to extend an offer but wanted the final two interviewers to meet me just for formality. It makes me question how many strong candidates they've lost due to similar situations.

I had a few video interviews. First, I spoke with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. The final round was supposed to be in person, but I didn't make it to that stage.

I talked with two people from their team and it went pretty well. I was nervous but they were nice and friendly and tried to make me feel comfortable. The chat was mostly them asking me questions (70%) and me asking them (30%). I didn't get the job, but it was a good interview experience.

I interviewed with the Risk Manager and the HR Director, in separate meetings. They gave me a lot of good info about the company culture and history. They also asked me some really specific questions about my past work experience and what I want to do down the road. They were happy to share details about what a normal workday and work year looks like, giving me a realistic idea of project and task priorities.
