I was met by a group of long-term tech employees instead of HR or hiring managers. They took me straight to a room for the interview. After introductions, I was told there would be 10 questions, which seemed to be the entirety of the interview. It felt unprofessional as my qualifications, achievements, or contributions weren't discussed. It felt more like a setup for nepotism, not a real interview. I never received a rejection email.

The interview involved about 5 questions asked by a committee, not usually the hiring manager, though this can differ by department. The questions are meant to align with the job description and are scored based on your answers and application materials, with emphasis on how significant each area is to the role. The company has many 'primary areas,' so they can be quite numerous. It's important to use a CV (more detailed) rather than a resume, as volume can be beneficial. Being on staff doesn't mean they know your capabilities, and they need documentation for compliance. Hiring is mostly based on stated criteria, but some managers might have a hidden preference unknown to the committee.

Applied over a month ago. Got a call for a zoom interview after two weeks. It was a panel interview with 4 people. Two of them introduced themselves with their pronouns. It was a bit awkward as I didn't get to use mine. The interview was good, lasted 30 minutes, and they asked about my skills and experience. They said they'd let me know in about a week and a half. I sent a thank you email after 5 days. Since I had another job offer and 13 days had passed, I left a voicemail to check on my status. I received a rejection email shortly after.

Took about 2 weeks after applying to hear back, but the interview process was very fair. I was surprised to meet with more than one person given the level of the position. The interviewers asked really good questions and seemed to really care about finding the right person not just the right qualifications.
