First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Salon Service Group.
Store Manager
The interview process is pretty straightforward. It hinges on the store's requirements and whether the previous employee had any strengths or weaknesses, along with where you could boost the store's progress. It's about how you can positively impact the store's growth.
- Are you a competitive person, or do you find drive in other aspects of your work?
Assistant Manager
First, I had an in-person chat with the manager, then a phone call with a hiring rep from their corporate office. Both chats were about 30 minutes each. It was a pretty standard interview setup with typical questions.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join Salon Service Group?
Customer Service Representative
I talked with HR and the warehouse manager. The HR person was really nice. They took me on a tour of the company and gave me a lot of info about it. I met people from different departments and learned about all the company perks and its history.
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
Outside Sales Representative
Had a great phone interview, then an equally great in-person interview. After over two months of talking directly with the hiring manager and being kept waiting, I got an email from a no-reply HR account via Zip Recruiter saying I wasn't selected. Definitely don't waste your time with them. They don't respect people at all.
- What's your approach to dealing with a frustrated client whose shipment is late because of weather?
