I saw the job posting and went to the store to apply. I spoke with a Manager there who told me to apply online. After I applied online, I got a call from the Recruiter, and she set up an interview for me with the Talent Director. I sent a handwritten note to the Talent Director and followed up with an email about a week later. I also called the Recruiter to thank her for scheduling the interview. About two weeks after I emailed the Talent Director, I got an email from the Recruiter saying I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Presentation

Since I was applying for the flagship store manager position, the interview process was pretty long. It was good though because I got to learn a lot about why the upper management liked working for the company. It started with a phone interview, then I came in to meet with three people, two at the same time, then a third. A few days later, I met with the VPGM of the store, who is a great person but tough to gauge her reactions. I thought I didn't do well, but the next day, I got a call to interview with the AGM I would be reporting to, and they had the offer paperwork ready for me that same day.

Behavioral Case

The interview process was pretty standard, no real curveballs. I actually thought it would be more challenging, but it turned out to be less so than I anticipated. They're really eager to get good people on board, so they seem to avoid making the hiring process too tough. I nearly turned down the offer, but I decided to accept it back then.
