First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Saker Shoprites.
Cashier
It was a simple and straightforward interview process. There was only one round where they asked about my schedule. The interviewer was nice, and the whole thing wrapped up in about a week.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself, and what your availability is like?
Deli Clerk
It was a really straightforward one-on-one chat with the hiring manager. They asked some pretty basic, general questions. Everyone was super nice and the staff seemed really friendly. It's a bit weird though, they had signs all over for jobs but only one part-time position was actually open, and they were interviewing a lot of people for it.
- Can you sum yourself up in three words?
Pharmacy Technician
I had a quick phone chat with the manager. They asked me if I had a job at the time, what my work availability was like, if I was looking for part-time or full-time work, and when I could come in for an in-person interview.
- Are you interested in working part-time or full-time?
Produce Clerk
They asked simple questions about my past experiences and why I want to work here. Also asked why I would be a good fit and how I would deal with situations. It took about 10 minutes.
- What was your motivation for applying to ShopRite?
- Can you share some of your previous experiences?
- What makes you want to be employed here?
