First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sakara.
Associate
It seems like an interesting place to work with good benefits, but they never got back to me. It's a shame because I think they are limiting themselves, not sure what they are looking for.
- In your own words, what is wellness?
Event Associate
The overall experience was decent, and I felt I communicated well and showed my strong interest to the interviewers, making me feel hopeful about the opportunity. I was asked to prepare a presentation that took me over a week to really dive into and finish. Then I went into the office and met with several people from the company. After that, they contacted my references, which made me think I was in the final stages. Unexpectedly, I received a rejection a few days later, which is fine, it happens. I replied expressing my disappointment but also my appreciation for the opportunity and my enjoyment of meeting everyone, and I asked if they could provide feedback, following up on this request twice. After going into the office, spending many hours on a presentation, having in-person meetings with team members for a long time, and having my references contacted, I would at least expect a personal call from HR, not an automated email. I found this to be quite rude and a complete waste of my time, showing a lack of human empathy.
- Tell me why you are interested in Sakara Life.
- Describe your approach to working with others.
- Can you share some of your key personality traits?
Growth Marketing Intern
The interview was short, under 30 minutes, with a friendly interviewer. It was a really good vibe, and they seemed genuinely interested in me and passionate about the company's mission. Overall, a pretty enjoyable experience.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself and your background?
Manager
I went through three interview stages, starting with a recruiter and ending with the Co-CEO. I really liked everyone I spoke with until the Co-CEO started pushing me hard for details on past suppliers I'd worked with. It felt weird to share that kind of info, especially since they kept asking. It was a real letdown because it seemed like a great company and role, but once I didn't give them that information, the job offer was put on hold.
- Can you tell me which supplier you used for that specific product?
