So, there were three rounds for this interview. First up was a phone screening with HR. Then, I had a Zoom interview with the Director of Career Services. The last round was an in-person thing with the whole office, and it was broken down into three parts: one with everyone except the leadership team, another one just with the other Career Counselors, and the final part was with the Associate Provost.

I interviewed with the site director. We talked about my previous part-time work in a similar role at the company, and then we moved on to discuss my future goals, relevant work and education experiences, and potential opportunities within the healthcare industry. I believe this was after they considered my part-time experience.

The interview process was quite thorough. It started with written supplemental questions, including a detailed explanation of my interest in the role and sample responses to student inquiries. Next, there was a phone interview with the whole team, which also involved a mock career counseling session with a student. The final stage was an in-person meeting that included a presentation, a panel interview, and one-on-one discussions with team members and senior leadership. The whole thing took about 8 weeks.

I applied online and heard back about a month later to schedule a phone screening. The initial call was with a recruiter and focused on basic questions. Afterward, I was asked to provide my availability for a virtual interview with the department director. This virtual meeting included three interviewers and delved into job-specific and experience-related questions. The interview seemed to go well, and they appeared pleased with my responses. I was told I'd likely hear about next steps the following week. When I didn't, I followed up with the recruiter and was informed they had chosen other candidates.
