After applying online and doing the questionnaire, I got a text call the very next day. They wanted to offer me a job and told me to call a number with a reference number. Then I had a 10-minute phone interview where I was asked why I want to work for Sainsburys, for an example of great customer service, and a time I worked in a team. She then said she wanted to book me for a face-to-face assessment, sending details for a week later. I was then interviewed by the store manager who asked basic questions about my hobbies and passion, which turned into a chat about football. Then, it got formal, and he asked about my previous work experience and the same questions from the phone interview. Note: you can't give the same answers or they'll ask for another example, so prepare a different one. Afterwards, he said I'd hear back within a week if successful, and I got a text 4 days later saying I was successful.

They asked me to wear smart clothes and comfortable shoes for the interview. I was given pre-interview questions and information about what they expected from me. I needed to prepare information about skincare products, specifically No. 7, though they mentioned they would provide an introduction during the interview. The interview itself was scheduled for two and a half hours and involved a demonstration.
