First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sagora Senior Living.
Sales and Marketing Director
The interview process was smooth even though there were three levels. The corporate, regional, and executive directors were all great, clearly outlining marketing metrics, KPIs, and what they expect. The team leadership is very supportive and understands what's achievable, valuing the effort employees put in, regardless of challenges. It's an excellent company.
- What attributes are essential for a successful marketing professional?
Certified Nursing Assistant
It was fun and I enjoyed meeting the staff. It wasn't intimidating or uneasy. The building was well maintained and the staff were eager to help. I would recommend medical professionals to apply for their prospective positions.
- What would you find difficult about this job?
Graphic Designer
Most interviews were on Teams since the office was remote. I had a follow-up in-person interview. When I showed up, the office was closed and I wasn't informed until I arrived. Got mixed messages about whether the Graphic Designer reported to the Senior Graphic Designer. During the process, I found out the Graphic Designer put in their notice. I got an offer and again asked for clarification about reporting structure. Once I got a new job description, I made a counter offer since it was a supervisory role. Was told they would be going in a different direction. I'm now realizing there were red flags.
- Do you have experience in Senior Living communities?
Lifestyle Director
I talked to three different people and then there was a group interview with the managers. It was a long process, but I felt good about it after each step. I met with the Executive Director, then the Regional Lifestyle and Pathways specialist. After that, I had a phone interview with the Regional Director. Finally, I did a panel interview with the management team at the community. It all went really well.
