First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sagility.
Care Coach
I got a job offer for a seasonal Care Coach role with Sagility, which I thought was a good fit. After applying and doing several Zoom calls and the background check, they waited until the tech check to tell me I couldn't set up in my living room because it needed to be a room with a door. I was surprised because they had restrictions on windows and doors, and a webcam needed to be pointed at me all day, but they said I couldn't be in the living or dining room if it wasn't enclosed. I went to the tech setup anyway and did everything, but after the 360-degree room check, they said I needed a room with a door. This meant my bedroom, where I'd have a webcam on me all shift, every day, which is problematic since my husband also needs to use that room. Even AI advised against pursuing it further.
- Was your knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid more than what an average person would have, as required by the assessment?
Graduate Trainee
It was 3 rounds, starting with an HR round where they asked basic questions. Then there were two assessments: one for English and logical reasoning, and another for computer skills. Finally, there was a manager round. They asked basic questions to see if I was interested in insurance fields. It was an easy interview round to pass even without much domain knowledge.
- What makes you interested in the insurance industry?
Customer Service Representative
I want to share my experience with Sagility. They emailed me that I passed both my initial and final interviews and instructed me to proceed with the medical exam and job offer signing onsite. However, when we arrived, we were told we still had to pass another assessment before receiving the job offer. Unfortunately, none of us were informed about this additional requirement beforehand. As a result, many applicants, including myself, were misled and wasted our time and effort. Clear and honest communication is very important in the hiring process. I hope Sagility can improve transparency so future applicants won’t experience the same.

Data Scientist
I went through two interview rounds where we mostly talked about generative AI stuff. They were super interested in my past work and the problems I ran into building LLM solutions. I also talked about how my insurance experience could be useful in healthcare. After that, we got into salary talk, but the offer wasn't what I expected or what the job is worth. Since I didn't have other offers, I had to take it. I know they usually give a 10-25% raise based on your years of experience and what you made before.
- Could you explain what text embedding is and what effect it has on LLM performance?
- Tell me about your experience implementing LLM solutions and any challenges you encountered.
- How do you see your insurance background applying to the healthcare field?
