This was one of the best interview experiences ever. Kayla Wittman, the recruiter, was super responsive and helpful, making the process easy. The hiring manager and the team were genuine and supportive. The process moved quickly from the first call to the offer. I had another offer but felt SageSure was the place to be. I was upfront about needing an answer before Monday, and Kayla called with an offer on Friday evening. They were understanding of my situation and moved fast, which was impressive. I followed up a lot but they were cool about it. This was a refreshing, human, and positive experience.

The interview process started off well but had a strange ending. The first two stages, a phone call with HR and an interview with the hiring manager, were pretty standard. They mostly asked about my background and projects. The last round was weird though. It happened really fast after the second interview, which was a bit unexpected but fine for me. The interviewer introduced themselves but then just didn't ask anything, there were just long silences. I tried to keep things moving by asking them questions I'd prepared, but their answers were really short and not that interesting. It felt like a missed chance and was honestly the most uncomfortable interview I've had.

A recruiter initially reached out on LinkedIn and scheduled a preliminary phone call. After that, my application moved forward to the hiring manager. In total, there were three rounds of interviews. The first involved the hiring manager and a manager from another department I would likely collaborate with. The second round featured two managers from teams I'd be working with. The final round consisted of three directors, each representing a division I'd previously interviewed with. The questions were highly pertinent to the role and not just generic online queries. I had ample opportunity to ask my own questions throughout. There was significant discussion about the company culture, assessing mutual fit. The entire process spanned just over a month, and by the end, I felt very certain about my decision to interview with SageSure. The recruiter was excellent, readily addressing all my questions and keeping me informed.

A recruiter contacted me to set up a phone screen. It took them about 2 days to schedule the call. Unfortunately, I had a work conflict at the time we had scheduled, so I gave them more than 24 hours' notice and offered alternative times. I didn't hear back from them even after sending a few follow-ups. It seems like this company's talent acquisition team has poor communication and unprofessionalism. Since recruiters are the first people new hires meet, this is a really bad first impression. I can imagine how bad it is to actually work here, so it might have been a good thing.
