Had amazing interviews with the team. The first was a simple review with the hiring manager and a dev. Then a second round technical interview, all the interviewers were great. Got initial positive feedback from the recruiter about some sort of follow-up, but was ghosted for over a month. Finally, the recruiter closed the loop.

The interview was split into two sections. Section 1: A fun, game-based test with around 10 quick mini-games. Each game was super easy and didn't take long. Section 2: A video interview where you answer three questions. You get 60 seconds to prep and 2 minutes to record your response for each. You can re-record up to twice per question. Gotta finish the whole thing within five business days.

System Design Technical

This was for the lockstep.io product/entity. It was lockstep. There were 3 rounds total. The first 2 were with an engineering manager and covered system design, which were pretty chill. The last round was with a junior engineer and didn't really have a specific pattern. That last interviewer seemed inexperienced and unprofessional. He was disinterested from the start, and the feedback from the recruiter proved he'd already decided before the interview even started because he got details about my work experience and problem-solving performance wrong.
