I talked to the recruiter who was super nice and open about the job, the team, and pay. They mentioned I'd move on to the next interviews and would hear back soon. Sadly, I never got an update and only found out I didn't get the job when I checked my Sage candidate profile and saw I was no longer being considered.

I had an initial phone call and then progressed to a second interview with a team member. I really put in the effort to understand the role and prepare, researching the company's culture through articles and podcasts, thoroughly learning the job's responsibilities, and speaking with senior PMs in the industry to grasp concepts and practical applications. However, the interviewer seemed disengaged and spoke robotically, as if a decision was already made. I wondered if he was just introverted. The conversation, scheduled for 30 minutes, finished in 20. He asked his prepared questions and didn't try to extend the conversation, which was disappointing given the value of opportunities, especially during a challenging year like 2020. It was an unpleasant experience at an otherwise exciting company. My research indicates the company and its leadership are strong, so good luck to everyone! Don't get discouraged and keep trying your best; there are other great companies that will match your enthusiasm.

Had a detailed conversation about the printing process. They asked me to describe my previous employers, including their customers and the sales process. They also asked about the intern selection and training process. Then, we analyzed quote versus actual cost and the steps taken to ensure profitability. It also included a tour of the facility and warehouse where the company runs several pick and pack fulfillment programs. I also had to describe any proprietary front end systems used with prior employers.
