First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sage.
Customer Support Analyst
The interview process was a bit all over the place. It started with a recruiter call in December, then a hiring manager interview in January, followed by a direct manager interview in January too. The final round was in March with the whole team. There was a lot of back and forth, and some confusion about the role, like the recruiter initially saying it was offered to someone else, then reaching out a month later for another interview, even though they needed someone immediately. It was frustrating because I ended up accepting another offer while waiting to hear back, despite liking the company benefits.
- Could you explain what accounts payable entails?
Customer Support Analyst
I was contacted by Kelly Services. We had 2 phone interviews and then an in person interview was scheduled for a few days later. I got the job offer, but then Kelly Services rescinded it after their on-boarding process because I have a Misdemeanor that's 4 yrs and 9 months old. Kelly Services policy says the Misdemeanor needs to be at least 5 yrs old for employment. It's too bad because it seemed like a good fit for Sage and me. I wonder if Sage would have cared about the Misdemeanor if they had hired me directly.
- How would you find an IP address on a computer?
- What are the chances for advancement within Sage?
Customer Support Analyst
I chatted with two managers about my customer service background and how I'd tackle different scenarios. They also threw in some technical questions. The managers asked questions back and forth. Near the end, they asked if I had any questions. The interview was pretty chill, and I felt like I could definitely work with them. They were laid-back and seemed like good people.
