It started with an HR interview to see if I was a good fit, and then I had a final interview with the hiring manager to check my skills, experience, and if I fit the role.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I interviewed with Sage Intacct in July for one position. I interviewed with three managers, all very informative and outgoing. Intacct hired from within but did provide some very positive feedback. Then they reached out in August with another job position. I interviewed this time with two managers. They were very easy to talk with and were excellent at describing their team and the role responsibilities. They really motivated me during the interview process and I was eager to join the team. I enjoyed the questions they asked.

Behavioral Technical Case

It was an hour long interview with 2 people, but only one was asking questions. They started with some general background questions, then asked what I knew about the company. After that, there were a bunch of scenario-based questions, like 'how would you deal with X?' or 'what would you do if Y?'. They seemed to focus more on the customer service side of things rather than the technical support aspect, so I actually thought the job title could have been 'Customer Service Advisor' instead.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you give an example of a past achievement that significantly benefited the business?
  • What is your understanding of our company?
  • Describe how you would handle a specific situation.
