I applied online. The application didn't list a deadline or response time. I reached out to follow up and was given an online interview. The interviewer was okay, but not super friendly, and kept asking about my college major, which was weird since I don't go to George Mason, a school they seem to recruit from a lot. Then I had to do a writing test with a 24-hour turnaround.

Had a super quick phone interview and was then invited for an in-person interview at their office, which was nice but located in a suburban area. During the in-person, I met with three employees. It felt like they didn't enjoy their jobs; one woman mentioned that 'a lot of people in the office have big personalities,' which I guess is common in an agency, but she repeated it a few times (seemed like a red flag). Another employee complained that her clients are uninteresting, suggesting they weren't really trying to sell me on the company.

I was contacted by email and had an in-person interview set up right away, skipping the phone interview stage. Depending on their impression, you'll interview with 3-5 managers and VPs consecutively, so you only need to come in once. Once they've decided, your chances of changing their mind about the role or your experience level are slim. A writing test is required, and its difficulty depends on your experience.

The interview was a virtual Microsoft Teams meeting. It felt relaxed and not at all intimidating. They were really interested in getting to know me and my career aspirations. The timing felt right, not too fast or too slow, and everything was organized well.
