Safran Cabin Interview Questions
& Process

I was first contacted by HR for a pre-screening chat. We talked about basic stuff like confirming who I am, making sure I was still interested in the right job, and why I wanted to join Safran. A few weeks later, I got called back for an in-person interview. It was with three people: the Director and two engineers from the team I'd be working with. They asked me a couple of simple tech questions, like about my CAD abilities and how I'd handle disagreements with people. After that, they showed me around the facility. They let me know about the offer about a week after that.

The interview process was really slow, there were two interviews, the first one with HR they made me wait two hours when the interview was scheduled for a certain time, and the second interview was similar.

I had two separate interviews with two different department managers on different days, and both were really good experiences. The goal was to see where my skills would be the best fit and which position was the right path for me. Both managers were really pleasant but also direct and honest, which I appreciated. We went through my resume and experience, and they gave me detailed explanations of the positions. The questions were based on my experience and situational, but very applicable to the jobs.

The whole process was initially clear and smooth sailing. I only had one round of interviews but the company took forever to get back to me. What was really unprofessional though was how they handled things after making the offer. They wrongly assumed I was on the West Coast and thought offering $20/hr in LA was fine without any relocation assistance. When I called to ask about it, the HR person was super rude, didn't let me speak, and didn't acknowledge my questions. They were laughing the whole time! Their response to my pay inquiry was that I applied to them, so they didn't have to hire me and I shouldn't expect to settle for $20/hr. Honestly, the manager and HR were both completely rude and unprofessional. I definitely wouldn't recommend working at their LA office. It was a total waste of my time and effort.
