The interview process has 4 rounds in total. First, there's a basic HR interview with one of the managers. Then, there's a test. After that, a senior manager conducts a behavioral interview. Lastly, there's a 'weird' interview with the CEO who might be late and unprepared, not even knowing your name or role. Despite this, the overall process was pretty easy.

I applied on May 4th and heard back the next day to schedule an interview for May 8th. The interviewer, who was actually from the finance team despite the role being for a Product Intern, joined on time. She gave a quick intro to the company and its mission. The interview lasted about 25 minutes and felt pretty straightforward, probably because it was the first round. I thought I did well enough to move on, but then I got a rejection email, which was a bummer.

First I submitted a video. Then I had an interview with the Openers team manager. After that, I was assigned to create a sequence and prepare a script for the role. The next interview was to review the sequence and practice pitch with the Openers Manager and the Team Lead. After that, I interviewed with the Director of Sales. The final interview was with one of the Co-founders. It took a long time to hear back from them after the second interview, but then things moved quickly.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied through a referral link and had to submit a 2-minute video plus answer some questions. About two weeks later, I got an automated email to schedule a phone screen with a recruiter. The phone screen was pretty basic and didn't allow much time for questions beyond compensation. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager about a week later. This interview was good; the hiring manager was well-prepared and asked about my experience and some personal questions, while also giving me a good sense of the role. Around a week and a half after that, I was given a 4-part assignment due in 2 business days. I didn't hear anything back or get any feedback on the assignment. Two weeks after submitting it, I was automatically scheduled for an interview with the CEO. In that interview, he asked about my past work, the biggest opportunity for the Partnerships team, and then threw in some quick, random questions at the end to see if I was creative. The whole process took over 3 months, which was much longer than the 1 month they initially said, and it happened during a really busy time of year. I also felt like I was just dealing with automated emails the whole time and never got proper feedback, which was disappointing.
