Hostess
it was like a 5 minute interview with a manager where multiple people were there and you were either hired on the spot or sent home. i wasn’t picked.
- What makes you the right candidate for this role?
Manager
It was a 30 min. phone call and then an hour in-person interview. The interviewer was pretty hostile and confrontational the whole time. If you interview with them, be ready for anything!
- Can you work shifts at the OC, Hollywood, Universal, and Valencia locations?
- Tell me about your experience handling cash.
- What's your experience with time sheets and payroll?
Server
I went in for an open interview, but I didn't have my resume with me. They asked me to print it and come back. After I returned, I waited at the front for about 30 seconds before someone greeted me. A server offered me water, and while she was getting it, a manager came up and introduced herself. She asked me to sit in a specific booth. I waited about 10 minutes, then a gentleman came over. Our interview was great, we laughed, and covered the basics of the job. He asked if I had any questions and told me to wait again. After about 5 minutes, the first manager who greeted me came back. Her interview was more direct and on the spot. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Can you describe your previous duties from your last job?
- What is your desired number of work hours?
Bartender
I found the job on Craigslist and went for an open interview. Julie Hardy hired me. I was persistent, and she told me that the staff would train me. It was a good process.
