Senior Contracts Associate
It was pretty straightforward. If they go quiet, you're probably not it. HR was nice and the team was friendly. You start with HR, then talk to the hiring manager, and finally meet with other cross-functional team members.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Sabin?
- Do you have any technical questions related to this role?
Intern
The process was straightforward. After applying online, I had a phone interview. The first interview was a good experience; the manager was pleasant and friendly. There was a bit of a wait to hear back, but after the second interview, I received an offer by email.
- What are your thoughts on the work here?
Resource Development Officer
So, I had three interviews in total. The first one was with the Operations Manager, and it was mainly to see if I was able to move for the job, what I was looking for, and what I could bring to the table. Then, I had an interview with the supervisor where they went over the job details and asked some general situational questions to check my skills and experience. They seem to like people with a wide range of skills so they can be utilized in various areas. The last interview was with the supervisor, CEO, and another director. It was more casual, and we mostly discussed Sabin's objectives and how my career aspirations might fit in.
- You were given a writing task to prepare a letter for a potential donor, assessing your writing skills.
- Draft a letter to a prospective donor.
Program Associate
First, there was a phone screen to confirm I met the qualifications and to schedule my in-office interview. Then, I met with the entire team I'd be joining. Finally, I had a one-on-one with my manager. Pretty standard stuff overall. It did take a while from the initial call to getting the offer, and they wouldn't negotiate salary at all, saying it was against policy.
- Would you rather work collaboratively or independently?
