Technical Support Engineer
They'll ask you some easy questions about your past experiences, tell you anything you want to hear, promise you the world, and say you got the job. Then they just ghost you.
- What makes you want this job?
Solutions Architect
Started with a quick phone screening, then had a more formal phone interview with a technical test, and finished with a 1-on-1 chat with my potential manager about the daily tasks and what a typical day looks like.
- What are the different types of LOVs in Teamcenter's BMIDE?
Security Cooperation Consultant
I was contacted directly by Sabel about an overseas position while I was transitioning out of the military and stationed in the same location. We discussed my interests and goals, and within a few days, I received a conditional offer to start right after my terminal leave. This offer was contingent on a background check and client approval. I inquired about the client approval timeline and specifics. I was informed that Sabel's DoD positions are secure, but finalization takes time. I waited overseas for a month during my transition, only to be told the position wouldn't be available until later in the fiscal year and that I should 'pursue other opportunities.' I strongly advise caution if considering Sabel; they might extend offers they can't fulfill, leaving you to bear the risk.
- Can you describe your experience with security cooperation in a deployed setting?
Instructional Designer
Applied for the role and did an online assessment. Was told I would get a job offer soon but never received one. Reached out via email, but didn't hear back.
- Why did you choose to work in instructional design, and how has your background influenced your methods?
