First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at S'well.
Social Media Coordinator
It was a great and straightforward interview process! They asked basic questions. It's a great company! I didn't get a third interview, but it was a pretty average, not super difficult interview! Good luck!
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
Junior Designer
After applying, I was contacted via email about a month later to schedule a phone screen with HR, where we discussed my experience and interest in the role. I then advanced to the next round, a zoom call with the Marketing Lead. During this call, we talked about my experience and portfolio, as well as my general design software skills. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job. I realized I wasn't as prepared as I should have been and that I wasn't as good a fit for the role as I initially thought. They told me I didn't make it a few days after my chat with the marketing head.

- Could you describe your background and skills?
- Walk me through your experience.
Sales Coordinator
I had my first interview with HR, and then a week later I had an in-person interview where I met with three different people. The interviews seemed to go really well, and I left feeling very confident. They mentioned they needed to fill the position immediately. However, I had to follow up with HR twice regarding my status. Even though I had another offer, S'well was my top choice, and I made that clear. They eventually responded, stating they decided to move forward with another candidate whose background was a better fit for the job requirements, despite me being more than qualified.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Sales Representative
The interview process for this Sales Representative role was incredibly slow and disorganized. What was especially unprofessional was that they didn't inform me the position was already filled until after I had completed four interviews. During one of the interviews, an employee even shared negative opinions about the leadership team.
