Technical Behavioral

It was a pretty straightforward interview process, kind of what you'd expect in this industry. There was one technical interview with the hiring manager and then another one with HR. The questions were all about whether I had the technical skills for the daily tasks of the job.

Got an interview through the university job board when I was a senior. Interviewed on site in Houston and got an offer. Accepted the offer. Kept in touch for 8 months. They asked me to pay for and pass the FE exam, which I did. Then, they rescinded the offer just a week before my start date. They didn't offer any separation compensation. I couldn't even file for unemployment because of this. Loads of student debt, and 3 months until the Fall recruiting cycle for new grads started again.

The manager wanted to meet for lunch, but I had a previous commitment so we met in his office instead. He was very flirtatious and full of himself. He asked a couple of questions about my experience and mostly talked about the new job. I was offered the job at the end of the meeting.
