Interviewed by two people who didn’t really ask too many technical questions, were just really asking the usual questions and how I would be a good fit for this company. They seemed like nice people.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was mainly for a process and manufacturing engineer role, with questions focusing on relevant experience. I was interviewed by a panel of two people: an HR representative and a senior mechanical engineer. I realized the role wasn't for me because of the 7-3 shifts and the discussion about heavy workload and mandatory overtime.

The interview was scheduled for Friday, December 2nd, 2016. I was expecting to meet with 6 people in 3 different waves, but only 2 people, Blake Yentes and Scott Shepherd, actually showed up. They were very polite and I got the impression they had already selected someone for the position. I drove 41 miles to Ryobi in Shelbyville for this interview, and I found it quite unprofessional and disrespectful that 4 people did not attend the interview.

The process was very casual and easy going. They just wanted to better understand my abilities and how they may transfer over, what I am comfortable with, and what is to be expected of me.
