Tour Guide
We had a phone call first, and then I went in person to meet with them. It felt like a pretty chill vibe. I talked to 3 people. They gave me a solid rundown of what the job is about. They asked me about my past experiences and my taste in music.

Assistant Manager
They scheduled a 15 minute Zoom call. They didn’t ask grounded questions about the present role and instead focused on my past roles, asking why I had left them.
- Why did you leave your previous positions?
- Why are you looking for a different job?
- Why are you moving states?
Financial Analyst
I applied online and got a call from HR for a screen interview. After that, they set up an onsite interview. I met with two of the three interviewers one-on-one. I didn't get any info on next steps after the interview, so I emailed HR. They said they'd get back to me in a few days after talking to the hiring managers. It's been 4 weeks with no update. The job has been reposted twice since my onsite, and the posting was removed over a week ago with still no word. It's disappointing because they seemed serious about my application, but their communication doesn't match their stated value of employee respect. HR should have been upfront about interviewing more candidates and kept me informed at this stage.
- How did you find out about this role?
Training Specialist
This was initially a promising opportunity. They moved fairly quickly, and I had great conversations with the recruiter and hiring manager. Three weeks passed with good feedback and the constant promise of an update coming soon, but nearly a month after my second interview, I had to reach out myself, only to find out that they were "pursuing other candidates". Overall a disappointing experience. I went through the entire interview process for multiple other opportunities in the time it took them to reject me from a second interview.
- Could you describe a process you implemented that you are proud of?
- What makes you passionate about training?
