Coding System Design Behavioral

So the interview process I went through started with this CodeSignal test, which had 4 problems and I had 70 minutes to complete it. After that, I had 3 interviews with hiring managers and then one more with a product manager. The interviews covered system design, coding, and some behavioral stuff. It was all pretty smooth and organized, and everyone was really nice and approachable, making it a lot less stressful. They communicated clearly the whole time, and I came away with a good feeling about the company and the people there.

I had an initial screen where I had to respond via voice recording to a series of prompts. The prompts were interesting and I had fun thinking of good experiences to share. But it's been a few weeks with no follow up at all. Very disappointed in their response times. Moving onto the next one!

Technical Coding System Design Behavioral

The interview process was good until the final round. First up was a take-home exercise featuring advanced SQL questions and looping concepts. The second round involved a discussion with the VP of Tech about design and architecture. The third round was supposed to be a casual chat to get to know the team, as I was told, but it ended up being a panel of three from Tech and Product, and their vague questions meant I couldn't impress them.

Coding System Design Behavioral

The interview process was really long, like 7-8 hours in total, covering LeetCode problems, ML system design, and behavioral questions. The questions were mostly medium to hard difficulty. Even after such a long interview, I didn't get an offer, and honestly, not even a rejection. For that much time invested, I'd at least expect some constructive feedback on why I wasn't hired.

  • Describe an ML system for extracting disease/drug names/codes from free-text medical notes, focusing on prompt engineering.
