It was a very professional interview process. I first interviewed with the CEO in the US and the project manager. After that, I spoke with HR about salary and company policies. The whole thing was pretty smooth, and we agreed on the salary and flexible working hours. I started as a fresher, but the VP liked my skills and wanted to train me directly and help the team grow.

So the interview process was: first I had a phone interview with HR, then there were 4 in-person interviews, and finally, I interviewed with the CEO. It was mostly behavioral and situational questions. They really wanted to test my industry knowledge and see what I knew about their specific work. One engineer threw a random math question at me, which was unexpected but not too difficult. Overall, pretty standard questions.

Behavioral Technical

I had an initial 30-minute phone interview with average questions. Then, I had a 4.5-hour in-person interview which also included a Zoom interview with remote team members. The in-person interview had technical and some random questions, and some interviewers were aggressive. I had to repeat my answers multiple times because some interviewers had a language barrier. I was told a decision would be made in a week, but I never heard back and my emails were unanswered.

I was initially contacted by HR on LinkedIn. After a phone screen, I had to go for an onsite interview three times. In total, there were about eight rounds of interviews, culminating in meetings with the CTO and CEO. The interviews primarily focused on questions related to the release process and branching strategies. I ultimately declined the offer due to concerns about the working atmosphere, as indicated by reviews highlighting poor work-life balance, long working hours, weekend support requirements, and a lack of WFH flexibility.
