First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RWS Group.
QA Specialist
The interview started late because the room was occupied, and the interviewer had to find another one. Five people were reading my CV and resume during the interview, clearly unprepared. One interviewer was arrogant and made up questions as we went. The whole meeting lacked professionalism. I also didn't appreciate how the future boss spoke to his subordinates; he was bossy and unkind.
- Could you please introduce yourself briefly?
- Can you describe your responsibilities at your previous company?
- What technologies did you utilize in your prior role?
QA Engineer
It was a 3 step interview: the first part was with HR, some background and knowledge check where I have talked about the projects I was involved in, the second part was the technical one, with the middle management and the team lead, and the last part was with the top management, where they presented the company and job description.
- What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
Localization QA Tester
A recruiter from the Argentina office contacted me. The process involved completing a linguistic test, which could be done via email or by uploading it to their website. If you passed this test, you would then proceed to an unpaid 3-hour tryout at the client's office (in my case, it was at a client in Cupertino, which you can probably guess). During this tryout, they provide language guidelines, but be aware that these can be a bit tricky due to some mistranslations within them. Keep in mind that both the client and the recruiters at Moravia tend to be slow-moving throughout the process. Transportation to the tryout was also not covered.
- How do you stay current with your target language?
