Rush University Interview Questions
& Process

So, there were like 4 parts to the interview process. First, I had a phone screen with HR. Then, like a day later, they invited me to come to campus to interview with my direct boss. I was told to get ready for maybe a second interview on the same day. Since the interview with the boss went well, they had me interview with the next level leader. After a day, I was asked to come back and meet the faculty members that this position would support.

This interview happened because a second intern was needed, so I felt pretty good about my chances. Instead of recruiters, two office leads interviewed me. They mainly explained the job's duties. They asked a couple general questions about my resume, showing real interest since they were healthcare-related. My interviewers were really chill, down-to-earth, and seemed genuinely interested in me. Then, I talked to the main boss of the office, which was more of a get-to-know-you chat than an interview. Finally, I had an HR meeting to sort out the details. A few days later, HR called to offer me the job. I can't say about other departments, but my interview experience was super welcoming and fit the Rush culture.

applied and got a response pretty quickly, like within 2 days to set up an interview. was told HR would reach out to finish the application, but they never did. I tried contacting HR but got no response, which made me realize this job might not be the best fit.

The interview process was very professional overall. Everyone I met was polite and attentive. HR was very thorough and organized. I would definitely apply again in the future, even though I didn't get an offer this time.
