First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Runzheimer.
Senior Applications Developer
I first connected with Runzheimer via a recruiter. After a initial phone screen, I was promptly invited for an onsite interview. The conversations with both business and technical staff were largely informal and went quite well. I feel the interview process and how they screen candidates is good. I applied because the job was listed as remote, but in the end, I wasn't hired because I lacked remote work experience. My resume doesn't mention any past remote work, and it wasn't a stated requirement. I was upfront about this during the first call. This wasn't a typical rejection; they actually offered me the job if I were willing to go into the office three days a week. I declined.
- Describe your experience with remote work.
Analyst
I had a phone call with HR initially, and then they scheduled an in-person meeting with both HR and the VP. I also got a personality test emailed to me that I had to finish before the in-person part. The in-person interview was pretty strange because the VP started talking about how bad the company is, the systems are terrible, and how most people here don't do much. I felt really weird after that interview because of how the VP acted towards her own company. Glad I didn't get an offer!
- What makes you want to leave your present job?
Sales
The process includes preemployment treating and several interviews. I interviewed with HR; lots of challenging, thought provoking questions. One really needs to be able to speak to their successes and their overall numbers. The panel interviews were tough but very insightful. This is a hard company to get into as it's clear they have high expectations.
- Can you walk me through your sales process?
- Describe your sales process.
- Could you elaborate on your sales process?
Customer Contact Specialist
I had a few interviews where I listened in on calls, took some tests, and met with panels of employees. Because I'm bilingual, I also had a conversation with another employee in that foreign language. It was a bit intimidating sometimes, but everyone I talked to was really nice and made me feel comfortable and welcome.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations?
