There were 5 rounds total, with the 5th round being the offer. I got rejected after the 4th round. All 4 rounds went well, but then after the 4th round, I got an email that shocked me. It made me wonder why they even considered me for the interview and wasted their time and mine if they didn't like my background. Interviewing here feels like a waste of time. They said, 'We had a chance to review your background, and while we were impressed with your experience, unfortunately, we do not see a fit at this time for the SDE II - Backend role.'

This was quite possibly the worst interview process I've been through. It took about two weeks to complete. There were three rounds in total. The first two were technical, and the last one was with a manager. The people interviewing were really knowledgeable and nice to talk to. I felt like I did a great job in all of them. The feedback I got from them was also positive. I was really excited about the job because I liked the company's goals and the work they were doing. However, after the final round, they let me go because of my background. I think they should check backgrounds before even interviewing, because I had to explain mine in every session. They could have just said no earlier. It feels like all those hours I spent in interviews were pointless.

Rudderstack came to our campus for recruitment. The first part was an online test on Google Forms, covering core CS subjects like OOPS, DBMS, OS, and Computer Networks. After passing that, there were two technical interviews, followed by an HR interview, and finally, a round with the CEO.
