It involved problem-solving focused interview rounds. There were a total of 6 rounds: 4 technical, 1 with a manager, and 1 with a director. It's tough to assess someone with 15 years of experience in just an hour, but they managed it well. The interviewers mostly focused on my CV, trying to understand the depth of my knowledge. All the technical rounds were enjoyable. Not all rounds happened on the same day. The HR made things easy by scheduling zoom interviews to start. Shortlisted candidates were then called for in-person interviews. No need to take a day off for the initial rounds as they were scheduled for convenient evening times.

I had a phone screen, then a technical phone screen where they asked one coding question, and finally an onsite interview. The onsite included three technical questions, and my last interviewer asked me questions about my resume. Lunch was provided during the onsite.

So, I had this phone screening with an engineer after HR set it up. We talked about my current job and what I do daily, and then they told me about the role I was interviewing for. Right after that, we jumped into a coding challenge. The task was to group anagrams from a list of words. I explained my approach using hash tables and then coded it up in Python, and it worked perfectly. They asked about the time complexity and any edge cases for the code. I answered everything, and they seemed happy. But then, the next day, HR got back to me saying the interviewer gave negative feedback, and they weren't moving forward. Still unsure why.
