This was one of the best interview processes I've been through. The first interview was super conversational. We talked a lot about the company's direction and the culture/values they're looking for. It was nice to have a real chat about why you'd want to join, instead of just trying to sell yourself. My in-person interviews were really well organized, and their tech actually worked (had two video interviews!). The Playa Vista office is also fantastic, great spot and perks.

The interview process was a mess, really unorganized. There were 3 rounds total. The first two rounds involved 3 separate calls, totaling over 2 hours on the phone with the recruiter, VP, and my potential manager. Round 3 was a marathon 5+ hours at their office, meeting over 7 people in one day. I had to take time off work for this. Inside the office, I only actually met 2 people face-to-face; the rest were via Skype. I had to move rooms 3 times, and the last room was super hot. Nobody offered me water until 3 hours in. They gave me a laptop without a charger, and it timed out because I didn't have the password, but thankfully I had my own. Also, nobody walked me out at the end. The questions were way too technical and situational for the role, more advanced than what the job actually required. The interviewers seemed unprepared, and some weren't even paying attention, I could hear their Slack messages and typing. It was hard to follow the conversation. Worst of all, the recruiter couldn't give clear answers about salary and benefits, just vague stuff. I'm really annoyed about the time I wasted and glad I didn't end up working there.

Got referred by someone who used to work here. Applied online, and then got a call about 2 weeks later for a screening. About 3 days after that, I had a phone call with a senior employee. A week later, I interviewed with four team members. They gave me an offer within a week after that. Then we negotiated, agreed, and I signed.
