I was contacted for an informational interview. Then there was a coding challenge. After that, I was supposed to meet with other devs to go over my code. Finally, there was an interview with the CEO. I only made it to the coding challenge and never heard back.

It was a really thorough but nice interview process. It starts with an informational phone call, then a technical interview with a live coding challenge, followed by a case study interview, and finally a behavioral interview, before an offer is made. The informational call is pretty straightforward. The technical interview covers classroom material, which is appropriate since I'm a recent grad. For example, they asked about OOP principles. If you've recently studied and reviewed your college material, you should be good. The live coding part of the technical interview involves a coding task that starts simple and gets progressively harder. They didn't strictly require executable code; they mainly wanted to see what I knew and how I approached problems. The case study interview was the most challenging part for me. They provide a business problem on paper, along with scratch paper and a pencil, and give about thirty minutes to answer related questions about how I'd solve it. It felt like a stress test with the tight deadline, but in hindsight, it probably only seemed that way because I was nervous. Expect some high-level questions, but also at least one very technical question that could take up most of the time. Lastly, the behavioral interview is with the CEO, essentially to see if I'd be a good personality fit for the company and if the company is a good fit for me. Overall, the experience was great. Even as an applicant, they made me feel like family. I'd recommend this process to anyone looking for a long-term employer who genuinely cares about their staff.

It was a virtual interview with the hiring manager and a technical assessment. They wanted to see how you fit the company and your technical skills. The hiring manager asked about your background, soft skills, and if you matched the company's culture and goals. The technical review checked your knowledge, and how you solve problems.
