Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ørsted.
Consultant
The overall experience was unpleasant. It took over two weeks to set up the initial interview, which was then postponed just two days prior. On the interview day, I wasn't asked about my past experiences. When I tried to discuss my skills, there was a general lack of interest. They asked generic questions, making it feel like a 'quota' interview. A week later, I got a rejection email. I followed up with HR and the Manager for feedback but never heard back. I was initially excited about interviewing with Orsted, but the interview, though mostly friendly, left a bad impression.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- Describe your working style.
SharePoint Consultant
I had a phone interview first, then a face-to-face one. If I passed that, there was a personality test and then a final face-to-face HR interview. The whole thing took about 3 weeks. I didn't make it to the next step, so I don't know what else was involved.
- Can you explain your interest in this role?
Consultant
There were four interview rounds, and the length varied depending on the specific position. The interviewers were patient and gave plenty of time for questions if needed.
- Can you discuss your past experience relevant to the duties of this position?
