MIS Analyst
First, we look at your application and resume. Make sure your resume highlights skills like advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and maybe Python. We want to see that you can do data analysis and reporting, with a focus on automation, creating dashboards, ensuring accuracy, and presenting data well. Sometimes there's an aptitude or technical test. This could involve some basic logical reasoning and quantitative stuff. You'll likely get an Excel test covering VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF statements, and Conditional Formatting. You might also have to do some SQL queries – think Joins, Aggregations, Group By, and Subqueries. Occasionally, we might test basic Power BI or Python skills too. Then comes the technical interview where we'll really dig into your comfort with Excel functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IFERROR, and Index-Match. We'll also ask about SQL queries (Select, Update, Joins, Aggregations) and your experience with reporting automation using things like Macros, VBA, or Python. If we use Power BI or Tableau, we'll ask about that too. We'll also check your understanding of data integrity, cleaning, and visualization. An HR interview follows, where we'll chat about why you want to be an MIS professional, how you deal with data errors or deadlines, your communication skills, especially explaining technical data to non-technical people. We'll also discuss expected salary, notice period, and your growth plans. Sometimes, there's a managerial or final round. This is to see how well you grasp business needs and how you'd handle real-world scenarios, like what to do if a report had wrong numbers. We also look at your ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Can you tell me about your experience with basic and advanced Excel, SQL, VBA, and other relevant tools?

Designer
So, the interviews usually have a few parts to them. First, there's a quick chat to see if you're a fit. Then, you'll do some technical tests, maybe some coding stuff, and then talk about past experiences. They're looking at how you solve problems, how you work with others, and what you know technically.
- The interview process normally has several steps, starting with an initial screening, then technical assessments, coding challenges, and behavioral interviews. Candidates are assessed on their problem-solving abilities, communication skills, teamwork, and technical knowledge.
HR Business Partner
The interview process was smooth overall. It started with a phone call, and then there were three total rounds. The first was an HR round, where we talked about my background and what I expected from the role. After that, there was a technical round to check my skills and knowledge of the industry. The interviewers were professional and approachable throughout, which made the experience positive and engaging. Each round gave me a chance to show what I could do and learn about the company culture.
- Can you walk me through your career path up to this point?
R&D Engineer
This was a 30-minute interview for an R&D Engineer role focused on research for sanitary napkins. It included a 15-minute HR round and a 15-minute technical round. Both parts were pretty easy, with basic questions related to the subject matter.
- What are the important properties of writing printing paper?
- Can you explain the difference between grammage and basis weight?
- What happens to paper fibers during the recycling process?
