First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RSM UK.
Auditor
The interview was about an hour long. It was mostly about values and how I used them in past experiences, so I had to prep for that. I also did a numerical reasoning test that didn't have a time limit and was pretty easy.
- What made you decide to go into Audit?
- What made you choose RSM?
Assistant Manager
The interview process was structured and professional. It started with submitting an online application. Then, there was a brief screening call with HR where we discussed my background and interest in the role. After that, I had one or two interviews that covered both behavioral and technical questions, depending on the specific position. Sometimes, there was an assessment or case study to check technical skills. The last step was a more in-depth interview with senior team members to see how I'd fit culturally and if I understood the role well. They communicated clearly during the whole process and gave feedback when asked.
- Considering your career stage, why are you looking to practice?
Consulting
I applied for the graduate consulting position with RSM UK. First, I had to do an online assessment, then a job simulation which included video interview questions where I had 3 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes to answer. After that, I had to wait a really long time, about 5 months, before hearing back about that stage.
- What is it about consulting that excites you the most, and how does that connect with your objectives?
- Can you tell me if you are the type of person who likes having a lot of responsibility, and explain why?
- What are your thoughts on integrating new technologies or software into RSM's current processes and service offerings?
Analyst
The interviews were conversational, aiming to make me feel as comfortable as possible. There were two rounds, each about an hour long, focusing mostly on competency-based questions. Overall, it was a positive experience.
