Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RPS Group.
Consultant
I applied online and got an interview offer after two weeks. The interviewers mostly talked about the job role and I didn't have to say much. I followed up with HR two weeks after the interview because I hadn't heard anything. Still no response from HR after four weeks, which was very rude.
- Why are you interested in this company?
Senior Consultant
The interview was friendly, started on time, and well organized. The questions were straightforward and focused on my previous experience and what I could bring to the organization. There were no surprise tests or presentations. They explained the team structure, work, client base, and expectations very well. They also went through company benefits like pension, annual leave, and share scheme.
- What is your motivation for leaving your current role?
Consultant
It was an on site interview with two directors. Very friendly and not intimidating. Allowed me to speak quite freely whilst leading me with strategic questions. It all went very smoothly and took about an hour. The questions were quite general about my background, my education and work experience and also quite detailed about the company so best to do your groundwork.
- Could you tell me about the projects this company is currently undertaking?
- Have you come across any recent media coverage regarding our company?
- What are your aspirations for your career path?
