Initial phone calls with higher ups went great. They thought I was a good fit. After a credit/background check, I had an on-camera interview with Jessica. Unfortunately, I guess I didn't make a good impression on her. Her unprofessional attire was notable.

It was a super thorough interview process. I had one phone call, then a Zoom meeting, and finally an in-person interview. The recruiter was really helpful throughout the whole thing. After I got the offer, they even told me what to expect on my first day and week, what I needed to bring, and my schedule. Honestly, a great interview and onboarding experience!

You get 2 interviews. The first one is about them understanding why you want this challenging job. They’ll ask you questions like what motivates you? The second interview is about getting to know you professionally and personally. They’ll ask you typical questions like name your 3 greatest strengths and 1 weakness. Overall, they were pretty easy interviews. As I was heading back home from the interview, the recruiter called me and offered me the job.

The office director was dressed in shorts, which was fine, but besides one of the team leads, I didn't see anyone else in shorts. The first interview was with the director, and then I was invited back for a second interview with two of their team leads. Both meetings followed the same format, and they asked similar general questions during each interview. The questions weren't super challenging and didn't require a specific structure like STAR responses. Given my management experience and how I've conducted many interviews myself, I felt the questions they asked were pretty basic. As I observed the office, I noticed what seemed like unconscious biases, with a tendency to hire more White males and fewer people of other ethnicities, and women appeared significantly outnumbered. I think they're looking for candidates who will unequivocally state they're motivated by money, which is something to note given the predominantly White male staff. This demographic observation is always a red flag. Additionally, completing their official job application requires agreeing to a credit check.
