The interview process started with a phone call with HR, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, I went to a Royal Credit Union location for an in-person meeting with two active lenders and the hiring manager.

I heard back about 2-3 weeks after applying via email. First, I had a phone interview, and then an in-person interview the following week. They said I'd hear back in about a week, but I had to follow up after two weeks and found out they weren't hiring anyone for the position. Everyone was really nice, but it was frustrating not hearing back. I had another job offer during that time and they moved on to other candidates because I was supposed to hear back almost a week earlier than I did.

The interview process was long and detailed. They asked me a lot of questions, let me watch the workers, and asked me even more questions. The entire interview lasted over an hour. After everything, they basically ghosted me, which I think is really unprofessional. I found another job, but I wouldn't have taken an offer from this company anyway. It seemed like too many steps for not much pay.

It was a very relaxed, informal, and easy-going interview. The interviewers were easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. I had 2 interviewers in the first round and 5 in the second round. I'm still waiting to hear back about an offer.
