Throughout the entire process, I consistently received positive feedback, with them stating I was exactly the candidate they were looking for. After completing all four rounds, they became unresponsive for over a month. Following persistent follow-ups, they finally sent a generic rejection email without providing any specific feedback. It felt like a complete waste of my time.

It started with a call with the line manager, and that was to check if I had the technical competency for the role. After that, I had an interview with the project manager, and they were the ones that decided if I was a good fit for the team. HR was not involved in any of the interviews. The project manager wanted to know if I could show experience working with the other roles that make up the bulk of the job.
