El procés va ser bo però molt llarg. Vaig començar amb un test, després una entrevista amb el meu futur superior. Després, vaig tenir una entrevista tècnica. Finalment, vaig fer 4 entrevistes d'una hora cadascuna amb 4 persones diferents amb qui treballaria. Sincerament, va ser massa. A més, van trigar molt a donar-me una resposta, tot i que havien dit que seria més ràpid.

The whole thing took about three weeks and included: A 30-minute recruiter chat, a 1-hour call with the hiring manager, a case study that took at least 4 hours, and a 1-hour technical interview. All in all, I spent about 6.5 to 7 hours on it, counting prep time.

So the hiring process at Rover took about 1.5 months. It started with a questionnaire, then I talked to the recruiter and the manager. After that, I got a take-home exercise, which I finished and sent back. Then it was radio silence for over a week, and I tried reaching out to the recruiter a few times with no luck. Weirdly, the manager added me on LinkedIn and told me to hang in there and asked about other interviews I was in, which felt like they were really interested. Eventually, I had another interview with a Data Scientist, but I wasn't really sure what their part was in the process or why their questions weren't relevant to the job I applied for. In the end, I got a rejection with zero feedback. When I thanked the manager and asked about feedback, he just said 'Thanks for your time!'. Honestly, the whole thing with Rover was a mess. The recruiters seemed totally out of the loop. For a Data Analyst job, this whole experience felt like a massive waste of my time and effort.
