I spoke with a recruiter from the Investment Management company, not Routeware themselves. The phone screen was on a Thursday. I was told I'd hear back Friday if I made it to the next round. Nothing came on Friday, but on Monday I got an email saying the next interviewer was out and I'd hear back in a couple of days. I followed up a week later and still haven't heard back. It's been two weeks.

It was a really weird interview. I had a 30-minute phone interview where they asked about my background and skills. Then I was supposed to have an in-person interview, but the interviewer canceled that morning due to an emergency. She rescheduled, but then her boss emailed saying she wouldn't be back for a while and sent an online assessment instead. I didn't hear anything for weeks after that, and when I followed up, there was no response. They kept me in the dark the whole time, which was super unprofessional.

It started with an online assessment, which included basic computer literacy, pattern/IQ, and personality tests. Then, I had a 30-minute phone chat with the head of engineering. A few days later, I had two one-hour interviews, one with the CTO and another with a senior developer. After that, I was given a programming project related to routing. Once I finished the project, I had an hour-long virtual interview with the CEO. Finally, I received an offer, but the compensation wasn't high enough for my experience, so we couldn't agree.

Applied online and got an interview scheduled with a manager. They apparently expected me to call them for the interview, which wasn't made clear upfront. I waited for their call at the scheduled time, but no one called. I reached out to reschedule and was blamed for not calling in. No further interview was scheduled. It was a very unprofessional experience.
